HOW TO POST A RECIPE!!

This one is for you mom!! I have added each of you as authors. Did you get an email? You will have to click Accept this Invitation in order to be able to post. Feel free to change/add anything you see!C

HOW TO POST A RECIPE

1.) Go to http://www.kidsarehungry.blogspot.com/
2.) Scroll to the very bottom of the page. You will see this in the center: Simple template. Powered by Blogger.Click on the word Blogger.
3.) If you aren't already logged in it will have you log in at this point.
4.) It will then take you to a Blogger page with your blogs. You should see: Hey Good Looking Whatcha Got Cooking
5.) there is an orange button with a pen on it. When you hoover over it says, "create a new post" Click on it.
6.) The next page is pretty self explanatory. You write your recipe There is a little blue box with mountains (next to link) if you would like to add a picture. Also make sure you post a title right next to the orange word POST at the top!!
7.)I also have been putting Labels on the posts to help keep them more organized. On the right sidebar. You will see a tag symbol with the word Labels. Click on it. Lable what type of post your recipe is: Main Dish, Chicken, Dessert, Bread. Beverage etc.) You can have multiple labels just seperate them with a comma.
7.) When you are done click Publish (orange button on the top right)

The next part is a little tricky and if you don't do it, I can do it for you!!

8.) Once you clicked publish it should take you back to the admin page with all the posts. Click
on the post that you just posted.
10.) On the left hand side you will see a sidebar. Click on Pages. There will be four categories that pop up in the middle of the screen (main dish, side dish, bread, dessert).
11.) Click on the category that your recipe fits under. If you need to make a new category. You can do that by clicking New Page.
12.) Once you click on the page that your recipe fits under. Type in the name of the recipe. The same as you have in your post
13.) Highlight with your cursor the post name that you just typed. Click Link at the top.
14.) A box will pop up. Paste the URL (Ctrtl V) Make sure the Open in New Window tab is checked and then click ok!!
15,) Wallah! You just completed your first post. If you have any questions comment below!!
